Catamount Search Partners helps partners and associates make informed and directed lateral moves.  The important decision to search for a new opportunity combined with the actual move to a new firm or company can be career and even life-changing.   Catamount Search is here for you every step of the way.  We are a selective search firm and only work with attorneys we believe we can successfully help navigate the lateral market.  We get to know you and your career goals in order to focus on the opportunities that make sense for you.  We will tailor your resume, deal sheet, business plan or representative matters list to highlight your strengths.  After we have finalized your documents and narrowed down a list of potential job opportunities that are a fit for your career goals, we will submit your materials, follow up with the employer, and schedule interviews.  Once an interview is on the books we will provide thorough interview preparation so you are confident and ready to answer the employer’s questions and ask a few of your own.  Finally, we will stay with you to advise on and assist with offers and negotiations.

 

While our focus is on the Chicago market, we also connect attorneys with new opportunities all over the United States.  Katy has successfully placed attorneys in new positions in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.  We are especially skilled at helping attorneys relocate either to or from the Chicago market. We stay current on the legal market across the country so we can help those relocating out of Chicago to other regions.  If we do not have sufficient local market knowledge, we will refer you to a trusted recruiter in the relevant location.
